If the pad inside your helmet is removable, it can be cleaned in a different way. For this, add some shampoo and washing soda in a bucket of lukewarm water. Now soak the pad in this water for some time. Then remove the dirt by rubbing it lightly with the help of a cloth. After cleaning thoroughly, do not squeeze the pad, but press lightly to remove the water. After this, dry the pad completely in the sun. Place the pad back in the helmet only after it dries.
Another easy way to clean the helmet can also be done with white vinegar. For this take half cup white vinegar and half cup water. Mix both in equal quantities in a spray bottle. Now spray this solution lightly inside and outside the helmet. Leave it like this for some time, so that the smell and bacteria disappear. After this, wipe the helmet thoroughly with a dry and clean cloth. Finally, keep the helmet in the sun, so that the moisture disappears completely and the smell does not remain.
Some important things should be kept in mind while cleaning the helmet. While opening the helmet, separate the visor and other parts slowly, so that no part gets broken. Do not use too much chemical or hard brush. After cleaning, if you want, you can give the helmet a new look by applying a light shining agent. Always use the helmet only after it is completely dry.
