Amit Kumar/Patna: Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary shared his sentiments while distributing the insurance amount to the families of the deceased policemen. On this occasion, he said that losing a family member is very painful, but getting help like insurance provides some relief. Samrat Chaudhary said that if any policeman dies due to any reason, his dependents can avail the benefit of the insurance amount. For this, helpline numbers 9155550046 and 9155550047 have been issued by the Home Ministry. By calling this number, the victim’s family can get complete information related to insurance benefits.
Will get insurance of Rs 20 lakh
On this occasion, DGP Vinay Kumar informed that the dependents of the policeman who committed suicide will also get an insurance benefit of Rs 20 lakh. He told that this time this amount was distributed to the families of a total of thirty-six policemen. Of these, 22 policemen died due to serious illness.
Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary made a big announcement on this occasion and said that cashless system will be implemented for the treatment of policemen. It has been started in Patna Police Lines. Soon this facility will be made available in the police lines of all the districts. He also said that residential schools will be built in all police lines. School dress for the children will be arranged with the help of Jeevika Didi. Its objective is to ensure the safety and education of the children of policemen.
