After being over-ripe, the taste of banana also deteriorates, due to which most people throw it away. But don’t make this mistake at all.
Masterchef Pankaj Bhadauria told in her recent video that she herself never throws away overripe or blackening bananas. In fact, she makes cakes with it. You can also try this recipe. With 3 bananas you can easily make a cake for 4-5 people.
How to make cake from overripe bananas
Material
3 ripe bananas (300 grams)
1 ½ cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1 pinch salt
½ cup powdered sugar
½ cup unflavored oil
1 tsp vanilla essence
¼ cup chopped walnuts
½ cup chocolate chips
Step by Step Recipe
– First of all, preheat the pan by placing a lid on it and placing a ring below it. Prepare a baking tray by laying baking paper on one side.
Then sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
– Mix chopped walnuts and cocoa powder in 1 teaspoon flour.
– Peel and cut the bananas. Put them in a bowl and mash them with a fork. You can also use a blender to mash the bananas.
– Add sugar, oil and vanilla essence.
– Mix well so that the oil mixes well in the banana puree and the sugar dissolves.
– Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients well.
– Add chopped walnuts and chocolate chips and mix again.
– Pour the batter into the loaf pan.
– Pat and shake the pan lightly.
– Bake in preheated pan for 45 to 50 minutes or until done.
– Let the cake cool, gently remove the cake from the pan and cut and serve.
