Health Tips: A balanced diet is necessary for a long and healthy life. According to AYUSH doctor Dr. Mohammad Iqbal, sesame, black gram, green vegetables, fruits, beetroot and carrots are beneficial for health. Avoid fast food and adopt regular light physical activity.

Rampur: Everyone desires a long and healthy life, but for this, just going to the gym or taking expensive supplements is not enough. The real difference comes from our daily habits and food items. According to Dr. Mohammad Iqbal, Ayush Medical Officer, Rampur, taking a correct and balanced diet is very important for a long life. Doctor Iqbal says that there should be a right balance of carbohydrates, proteins and fats in our diet. If the body gets these three things in the right quantity, then energy remains and the strength to fight diseases also increases, especially in winter. Using sesame seeds and sesame oil, which is also called sweet oil, is very beneficial. It is good for both the heart and blood.

For protein, Dr. Iqbal has advised us to eat boiled black gram. Apart from this, it is very important to eat seasonal fresh green vegetables and fruits. They provide essential vitamins and minerals to our body and maintain our energy. Consumption of vegetables and fruits becomes even more important in winter, because it strengthens the immunity of the body.
To overcome anemia, Doctor Iqbal advises eating beetroot. The nutrients present in beetroot help in increasing the amount of blood in the body. Apart from this, tomato and spinach should also be eaten daily. These not only nourish the body but also increase the immunity of the body. Carrots are very important for eyesight. Because it contains Vitamin A in abundance. Doctors say that eating carrots improves eyesight and also provides essential nutrients to the body.

Doctor Iqbal also says that we should stay away from fatty, oily and fast food. These things harm the body. Increases weight and increases the risk of heart diseases. Instead, it is better to eat home-cooked food, boiled or lightly fried vegetables and protein-rich diet. According to the doctor, not only the food but also the way and time of eating is important. He said that the habit of eating slowly and eating with the family is very beneficial for health and also doing light physical activities daily like walking, doing household work or doing light exercise also helps in increasing the lifespan and maintaining health.

According to Dr. Iqbal, for a long and healthy life, we should take care of our body and diet every day. It is most important to consume seasonal and fresh things, take the right amount of protein, stay away from oily and fast food and do light physical activity. If these things are adopted in everyday life then the body remains strong, the ability to fight diseases increases and life expectancy also increases.
