Chhattisgarh Weather Today: Today the effect of winter continues in Chhattisgarh and the weather remained cold and clear in most areas. Fog is also being seen in the morning, due to which visibility may reduce in some parts. According to the Meteorological Department, cold weather continues in Chhattisgarh and the temperature is expected to drop further in the coming days. The weather will remain dry in most parts of the state including the capital Raipur, while visibility may reduce in the morning.
There is dense fog in Balrampur district since morning. Fog along with cold has increased the problems of the people. Visibility has become extremely low due to dense fog, making driving on the road risky. In many areas, visibility has reduced to only 10 to 15 meters, due to which the risk of road accidents has increased. In view of the situation, the district administration has issued an alert regarding fog. The administration has appealed to the drivers to drive at low speed during fog and to use fog lights.
Dense fog was seen in many parts of Chhattisgarh early in the morning. Especially in Surguja, due to increasing fog, visibility remains low and people are facing problems in traveling early in the morning. Fog is affecting other districts also.
Rainfall and cyano system conditions
According to the Meteorological Department, no rainfall has been recorded anywhere in the state. The main rainfall figures have been completely meaningless. There is no active cyano system present, due to which there is no possibility of any major change in the weather at present.

During the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of moderate to dense fog at some places in Balrampur, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Jashpur, Korba, Korea, Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur, Surajpur and Surguja districts of Chhattisgarh. Visibility in these areas may be very low in the morning, due to which road and rail traffic is likely to be affected.
