There are innumerable stars and solar systems present in the universe, about which even scientists do not know anything. In such a situation, often when scientists make revelations about other planets, there is a desire to know more about them. There are many such planets present in our solar system, scientists are busy gathering information related to them. Space has always been a box of mysteries for us humans and human civilization has always tried to know whether we are alone in the universe? Scientists have been searching for aliens and life on other planets for decades, but recently a scientist’s claim has created a stir all over the world. Barry DiGregorio, a research fellow at Buckingham University, has made a controversial claim which has raised questions on the functioning of NASA.
DiGregorio believes that the rocks photographed by NASA from Mars are actually not ordinary rocks, but fossils of ‘soft-bodied creatures’ that once roamed the Red Planet. According to him, these photos are the biggest proof of ancient life on Mars, but the scientific community and space agencies are hesitant in accepting it. Let us tell you that this year has been very busy in terms of news about aliens. Earlier, there was a lot of discussion about ’31/Atlas’, which many people including a scientist from Harvard were considering to be an alien spaceship, however later NASA clarified that it was just a comet. Apart from this, a documentary named ‘The Age of Disclosure’ also created a sensation, in which many military officers claimed to have seen alien objects. But DiGregorio’s claim is different and more profound, because it directly questions NASA’s data and their intentions.

The pictures which DiGregorio is calling fossils of aliens were released by NASA. NASA says that these strange shapes of stones are only the result of ‘crystal growth’. But DiGregorio has accused NASA of covering up the truth. They claim that NASA is hiding this information from the world because of its plans to send humans to Mars in the 2030s. DiGregorio says that the shapes seen in these pictures had never been seen before on Mars and the speed with which NASA moved the rover forward leaving that area is highly suspicious. According to DiGregorio, if these shapes are observed carefully, these ‘stick’ or rod-like structures appear to merge into the host rock, which is a key characteristic of trace fossils.
He accused NASA headquarters of ordering the rover to move to the next point before collecting data, even though that place (Gale Crater) would have been home to lakes for billions of years. DiGregorio argues that crystals never branch or bend in the way that is seen in these pictures. According to him, this structure may be similar to the organisms found during the Earth’s ‘Ordovician period’. The most shocking argument of the scientist is that NASA already knows about the presence of living microorganisms in the soil of Mars. He believes that if NASA announces the discovery of life now, the public and taxpayers will raise the question that when life has already been found, then what is the need to send a $2.5 billion probe and spend billions of rupees? According to him, NASA is not making this information public to secure funding for its future missions.
