Delhi Blast Case Big Update: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has achieved another major success in the case of the horrific bomb blast that took place near the historic Red Fort of Delhi. The agency has arrested an important accused involved in the conspiracy of this terrorist attack. The arrested person is Yasir Ahmed Dar, a resident of Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir. According to the investigation, he was not only a part of the conspiracy, but had also taken an oath to carry out the suicide attack.
Who is the arrested accused Yasir?
According to NIA, the full name of the arrested accused is Yasir Ahmed Dar. He is a resident of Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir. The agency has arrested him from New Delhi. Yasir has been arrested under relevant sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 and BNS 2023. This arrest has been made under case number RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI.

Took oath for suicide attack
NIA investigation has revealed that Yasir was playing an active role in this terrorist conspiracy. According to the agency, he had taken an oath to carry out a suicide attack. He was also in contact with the main accused of the attack and the deceased attacker Omar Un Nabi.

The investigating agency said that Yasir was not only close to Umar Un Nabi, but he was also close to other accused in this case. Mufti Irfan is also included in this. He was in constant touch with all of them. NIA believes that this entire network was preparing for a major attack in Delhi in an organized manner.
