At midnight, a Mahindra Thar was driven straight onto the railway track. This created a stir in the station premises. As soon as the video of the incident went viral, people started making sharp comments on safety, carelessness and SUV culture. One even said that before buying Thar, the buyers should undergo psychological test.
In this case, police and railway officials immediately intervened and got the vehicle removed from the track and registered a case against the driver under the Railway Act. It is fortunate that neither any passenger was injured nor any railway property was damaged in this entire incident. But the danger was very serious.
