They say that if you have the passion to do something in your heart, then no matter how many difficulties come in life, they cannot stop you from reaching your destination. This saying fits Subhashini, a woman living in small village Chatti Serka of Bishunpur block of Gumla district. When Subhashini was studying in 9th class, her father died suddenly. Due to which it seems as if a mountain of trouble has fallen on his family. Subhashini’s mother was completely devastated, Subhashini was the eldest daughter of her family and had a younger brother. But he did not lose courage and took up the responsibility of further studies and running the household. He faced these difficult circumstances bravely.
His father Vikas Bharti used to work in Vishunpur. Initially she took training for 1 week, after which she started working there and also continued her studies. After that, since 2013, she has been making pickles herself in her home. Gumla is selling by setting up shops in different areas of the district. Now she is earning Rs 40 to 50 thousand per month.
