Panchkula. The special CBI court acquitted former CJM Ravneet Garg and his parents in the famous Geetanjali murder case of Gurgaon, Haryana. The court gave its verdict on Tuesday in this 12 year old case. It is noteworthy that in the year 2013, former CJM Ravneet Garg, posted in Gurgaon, was accused of murder of his wife Geetanjali and later a case of dowry death was made instead of murder.
Lawyer Advocate Manveer Rathi said that former CJM Ravneet Garg and his parents were accused of murdering his wife Geetanjali and the case was handed over to the CBI. Now the special CBI court has acquitted all three accused. The allegations have not been proved in the court. Three lawyers representing the former judge said in their arguments that 28-year-old Geetanjali was normal a day before her death and was talking perfectly even while talking to the family. She had never even filed a case of dowry harassment. Also, it was argued in the court that when the incident took place, the accused, former judge Ravneet Garg, was present in a video conference of judicial officers.
what is the whole matter
