Sultanpur. A case of corruption has come to light in the road being built at a cost of Rs 153.84 lakh on Phulpur Rajwaha of Kadipur assembly constituency in Sultanpur. BJP MLA Rajesh Gautam reached the spot on Tuesday and raised questions on the quality of the road. As soon as he kicked his feet, the road started crumbling, after which he complained to the District Magistrate.
The road is being built due to the efforts of the MLA
This road is being built under the renovation work of the service route from km 7.550 to km 10.110 and km 15.900 to km 26.065 of Phulpur Rajwaha of Sharda Sahayak Canal. The objective of this project, which started with the efforts of BJP MLA Rajesh Gautam, was to ease the traffic in the area. Earlier this road was so bad that even walking was difficult. MLA Rajesh Gautam said that about 50 villages will get direct benefits from the construction of this road. This road connects Kaithi Jalalpur intersection located on Surapur to Haliyapur Ballia Highway, which will make local and long distance travel easier.
