Material
Bottle gourd – 250 grams (grated)
Gram flour – 1 cup
Green chilli – 2 finely chopped
Ginger – 1 small piece (grated)
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Celery – ½ tsp
Salt – as per taste
Green Coriander – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Oil – for frying
Method of preparation
First of all, wash the bottle gourd, grate it and squeeze out a little water.
Put gram flour in a bowl and add green chilli, ginger, turmeric, red chilli, coriander powder, celery and salt.
Now add grated bottle gourd and green coriander into it.
Prepare thick batter by adding water as required. Keep in mind that the batter should not be too thin.
Heat oil in a pan. Make small pakodas from the batter and drop them in hot oil.
Fry on medium flame until golden brown.
Take out and keep it on tissue paper so that excess oil gets removed.
serving method
Serve hot bottle gourd pakoda with green coriander chutney or tamarind chutney. If desired, sprinkle chaat masala on top.

Use mustard oil or peanut oil for frying.
If you want, you can increase the crispiness by adding some semolina to the batter.
Use air fryer to make it with less oil.
