Material
Mustard leaves – 500 grams
Spinach – 100 grams
Bathua – 50 grams
Onion – 2 medium (finely chopped)
Garlic – 6-7 cloves
Ginger – 1 inch piece
Green chilli – 2-3
Tomato – 2 medium
Mustard oil – 3 tbsp
Salt – as per taste
Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
Corn flour – 2 tbsp
Method of preparation
First of all, wash and chop mustard, spinach and bathua thoroughly.
Add some water to the pressure cooker and boil for 2-3 whistles.
Cool the boiled greens and grind them coarsely in the mixer.
Heat mustard oil in a pan. Add garlic, ginger and green chillies and fry.
Add onion and cook until golden. Then add tomatoes and fry until soft.
Now add red chilli powder and salt in it.
Add ground greens and mix well. Add corn flour so that the saag becomes thick.
Cook on low flame for 15-20 minutes so that the flavors get mixed well.
serving method
Serve Bihari style sarson ka saag with hot corn roti, ghee and pickle. If you add butter on top, the taste will double.

Use only mustard oil, because it keeps the body warm in winter.
If you want, you can increase the flavor by adding some ghee to it.
If you want more spiciness, increase the quantity of green chillies.
