Plane narrowly avoids collision with Air Force plane: A JetBlue flight had almost collided with an American military plane, if the pilot had not shown his wisdom at the last moment. Both the planes had come face to face and the distance was only 5 miles left. However, this accident was somehow averted, otherwise the plane would have blown up.
US Military Craft Escapes JetBlue Flight: The war-like situation going on in the Caribbean Sea between America and Venezuela is now affecting normal flights as well. The situation is such that if the pilots do not show discretion, the lives of their own citizens are being put in danger due to America’s aggressive policy. Something similar happened when a JetBlue flight flying from the Caribbean country Curacao narrowly escaped a major accident. The plane had to divert its flight because a US Air Force refueling tanker plane passed in front of it.
The JetBlue pilot blamed the military aircraft for this. While talking to the air traffic control, the pilot said that we were almost going to collide in the air here. The pilot says that the plane came straight into the flight path, even though its transponder was not operational. The distance between the two planes was only 2 to 5 miles, which means if the pilot had not shown wisdom at the last second, the plane would have blown up.
How did the flight come in front of the US Air Force aircraft?
According to the report of ABC News, the military aircraft and the flight were about to collide in the air. As soon as the JetBlue Airlines flight saw the tanker, the pilot informed that a US Air Force refueler was coming straight ahead and he would have to stop the flight. The pilot said that the distance between the two planes was only 5 miles. The transponder of the military aircraft was also not on and after the incident it moved towards Venezuelan airspace. JetBlue spokesman Derek Dombrowski said the incident has been reported to federal agencies and the company will cooperate fully with the investigation. He said JetBlue pilots are trained to deal with all types of emergencies.
What did the US Air Force say?
The Pentagon referred the US Air Force for comment on the matter, although there was no immediate response from the Air Force. JetBlue flight 1112 was scheduled to land at JFK Airport in New York City when this accident happened. America’s Southern Command has said that they are aware of this incident. He has said that the military aircrew is very professional but all the circumstances regarding this incident are being observed and investigated.
Let us tell you that these days the American Army is intensifying its operations to stop drug smuggling in the Caribbean region and pressure is also being increased on Venezuela. Recently, the US Aviation Authority had also issued a warning to take extra precautions while flying in Venezuelan airspace. The air traffic controller also told the pilot that the presence of unidentified aircraft in the area was becoming a serious problem.
