Corbett Tiger Reserve: A tourist from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh has been blacklisted by the administration of Corbett Tiger Reserve in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand for illegally carrying a walkie-talkie into the park and trying to see the tigers.
Ramnagar: The administration of Corbett Tiger Reserve located in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand has blacklisted a tourist for six months for violating the rules. This tourist is a resident of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, who tried to take a walkie-talkie during the jungle safari on December 10. Park Warden of Corbett Tiger Reserve, Binder Pal Singh said that during the safari, a walkie-talkie was found in the tourist’s jeep, which was a violation of the park rules.
The park administration has already clarified that tourists are not allowed to carry any kind of communication device, walkie-talkie or other electronic devices during the safari. Doing this can not only affect the safety of wildlife, but it can also disturb the peace of the forest. The park administration also said that action will be taken against tourists who do not follow the rules, so that the conservation of wildlife and the natural balance can be maintained.
Legal action if rules are not followed
The administration of Corbett Tiger Reserve has appealed to the tourists to strictly follow all the guidelines and rules during the safari. The administration says that non-compliance of these rules can lead to legal action. Also, it can cause harm to wildlife and the environment.
Ban from safari or night stay
The blacklisted tourists will now not be allowed to take part in safari or night stay in any tourist zone of Corbett Tiger Reserve for the next six months. The park administration believes that this type of action will increase awareness of the rules among other tourists and will ensure the safety of the park. Corbett Tiger Reserve is one of the oldest and famous national parks in the country, home to tigers and other wildlife. It is considered very important from the point of view of environmental protection.
