Sitamarhi: Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Northern Railway has presented a great opportunity for sports talents. Recruitment has been done for a total of 21 posts under sports quota. Under this recruitment, eligible players of many sports disciplines including boxing, athletics, badminton, archery, cricket, football, handball will get a chance. Educational qualification for recruitment
As an educational qualification for this recruitment, the candidate must have passed 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board. Apart from this, candidates having graduate degree in any subject from a recognized university or institute are also eligible to apply. Talking about the pay scale, graduate candidates will be given a salary of Rs 25,500 to 29,200 per month and 12th pass candidates will be given a salary of Rs 19,900 to 21,700 per month. The age limit has been set as minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years, which will be calculated from January 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be given to reserved categories as per rules.
How much will the application fee cost?
The application fee for general and OBC category candidates has been kept at Rs 500, while for SC/ST, EWS, women and disabled candidates the fee has been fixed at Rs 250. Fee can be paid online through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. The selection process will be completely based on sports talent. Eligible candidates will be called for trial first. During the trial, 40 marks will be evaluated on the basis of sports skills, physical fitness and coach’s observation. Only the candidates who score at least 25 marks will be eligible for the next stage.
