Sasaram News: An incident of brutality against a 12 year old minor came to light in Sasaram. She was kidnapped, then raped and then strangulated to death. The student had gone to pick up her younger brother from coaching. Then the miscreant kidnapped her.
Sasaram: A shameful case of brutality on an innocent child came to light from Rohtas district of Bihar. A 12-year-old girl was raped and strangulated to death in a village in the Nasriganj police station area. The incident is said to have taken place late Thursday evening. The family members kept searching here and there for the minor. His body was found just a few meters away from the house. After the disclosure of the incident, anger spread in the entire area. There is anger among the villagers and the pressure on the police to take immediate action is increasing.
The father of the deceased told that his daughter had gone with her younger brother to finish her tuition at around 5 pm on Wednesday evening. When she reached the coaching center after her classes were over, she came to know that her younger brother had already gone home. After this she was returning home on foot alone. Since the road was dark and deserted, an unknown beast took the opportunity and kidnapped the girl. After this, they took her to a deserted place and raped her and because she could not complain, she strangulated her to death. The body was found in a field near the village on Friday morning.
Crying and bad condition of family members
As soon as the information was received, Nasriganj police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The forensic team has also collected evidence from the spot. The family members are in bad condition and crying. The father of the deceased told that his daughter was a student of class 7th and was very promising. After this heinous incident, women and girls in the village are in fear.
Police engaged in investigation
Villagers alleged that such incidents are increasing due to lack of street lights and deserted roads in the area. Nasriganj police station incharge said that the matter is under cognizance. Post mortem of the dead body is being done. Several teams have been formed to search for the culprit. The accused will be arrested soon. At present the police is engaged in a thorough investigation of the entire matter. This incident has once again raised a big question about the safety of children before the society.
