The role of Rare Earth Elements is considered to be most important in the pace at which the high-tech world of the world is growing today. They are used everywhere from EV motor to mobile, battery, defense and medical machines. For this reason, countries of the world keep an eye on the big producers of these minerals. China is still at the forefront, but many countries are now increasing their production of Rare Earth. India is also involved in this race and its reserves are considered quite large.
Russia produces about 2500 metric tons of Rare Earth, and has reserves of about 1.7 million metric tons, which it uses for its technical needs.
India produces about 2900 metric tons of Rare Earth, but it has the world’s largest reserves of about 6.9 million metric tons. This reserve figure can make India a major player in the Rare Earth supply chain in the future.
Thailand produces approximately 13000 metric tons of Rare Earth. Official data on Thailand’s reserves is somewhat limited, but the region contributes to Asia’s rare earth supply.

Nigeria also produces about 13000 metric tons of Rare Earth, and is said to have reserves of estimated 1.1 million metric tons.
Australia produces about 13000 metric tons of Rare Earth and has reserves of about 3.2 million metric tons, which are important for global supply.
Myanmar produces approximately 31,000 metric tons of Rare Earth, while its reserve figures are estimated but are believed to be around 750,000+ metric tons.
America produces about 45000 metric tons of Rare Earth, and has reserves of about 1.4 million metric tons, which meets the demand for technology and defense.
China is the world’s largest Rare Earth producing country, which produces approximately 270000 metric tons. China also has the world’s largest rare earth reserves – about 44 million metric tons, which is the center of the global supply chain.
