Lakhimpur Kheri: Now the administration has geared up to reduce the death rate due to road accidents and accidents in Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh to zero. Road accidents happen every day and in these road accidents many people die and many get seriously injured. Under the Rahveer scheme, a reward of Rs 25,000 will be given to the person who helps in taking the injured to the hospital. The objective of this scheme is to save the lives of those injured in road accidents.

The incidents of road accidents increase in the winter season because more accidents occur due to fog. In such a situation, a reward will be given to the people who reach the hospital with the injured. For this, the district administration and transport department are continuously making people aware that they should not run away after seeing an accident, but should help the injured.
There will be no questioning from the helper
Many people shy away from helping accident victims due to fear of police questioning, court cases and legal complications. Under the new scheme, it has been ensured that no helper will be interrogated nor will he have to visit the hospital or police.
