Hotel Association Secretary Ved Sah said that the city’s prestigious Mall Road will be specially decorated this time. Attractive lighting and colorful decoration will be done on both sides of the road. Along with this, heaters will be installed along with live music on the entire Mall Road, and bonfire will also be arranged by the municipality. Due to which the tourists will not only get relief from the cold but will also get a unique experience. The Hotel Association says that this time the decorations and events are going to be many times grander than the previous years.

This year’s celebration will be very special

Ved Sah told that this year the celebration of Thirty First will be organized in a completely new style. He said that if Winter Carnival is also held in Nainital this year, then there will already be a continuous festive atmosphere in the city from Christmas to New Year. Our plan is to specially decorate Mall Road with the beginning of the Winter Carnival. After this, the celebration of Christmas and then Thirty First will continue. Music systems will be installed on Mall Road so that people can dance to the tunes of songs from Tallital to Mallital. He also said that in view of the increasing number of tourists, the administration is making strategies for security, crowd management and convenience of families.

Tourism business has expectations from this event

This year the tourism season in Nainital has been much weaker than expected. Due to communal tension, rain, landslides and other reasons, the number of tourists in the city was less than normal this year, due to which people associated with the hotel business had to suffer losses. Ved Sah says that the condition of tourism this year has not been very good. Many businessmen and hoteliers associated with tourism suffered losses. But now with the coming tourist season it is expected that the situation will improve. All the preparations are complete from our side, if the weather cooperates with the cooperation of the administration, then the season can be wonderful. The Hotel Association believes that this time tourism will gain momentum again in the tourist season, because during the New Year usually a large number of tourists from India and abroad come to the city.
