Patna: As the days of December are passing, along with the cold, a dense white blanket of fog is taking over the entire Bihar. For the last three days, maximum fog is being seen in the capital Patna in entire Bihar. Not only in the morning, the effect of fog is visible throughout the day. Due to this, visibility has been affected. The lowest visibility on Thursday was 300 meters in Patna. The lowest temperature at night also remains continuously around 5°C.
The latest forecast of Bihar Weather Service Center has given a clear warning that the weather may become colder in the next few days. There is a danger of very low visibility in many districts of the state. The minimum temperature will continue to fall continuously.
Kaimur again becomes the coldest district
For the last several days, the lowest minimum temperature is being recorded in Adhaura block of Kaimur. The minimum temperature here reached 5.8°C. Along with this, the minimum temperature of Rohtas was also recorded very low i.e. 7.8°C. The mercury also remained very low in districts like Aurangabad, Arwal, Gaya, Jehanabad. Due to this, the chill of morning and evening is being felt more strongly.
On the other hand, in Bhojpur, Patna, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Begusarai, Khagaria, Sheikhpura, Lakhisarai, Munger, Kishanganj, Purnia and Katihar, the night temperature was recorded between 10°C to 12.1°C, while the minimum temperature of all the remaining districts was recorded between 08 to 10°C.
Fog will increase, visibility will decrease, dense fog in these districts
According to Bihar Weather Service Center, during the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of moderate to dense fog in parts of West Champaran, East Champaran, Sheohar, Sitamarhi, Gopalganj, Saran, Siwan, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Madhepura, Muzaffarpur, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia, Patna, Begusarai, Banka and Bhagalpur districts during night and morning hours. In these areas, visibility may decrease by 50 to 200 meters during night and morning. There will be haze and moderate fog in other districts also.
Cold winds will blow, you will feel chill
Dry weather is expected along with light to moderate westerly wind (30 km/h). Due to this, the body will feel more cold. There may be a further drop in the minimum temperature due to wind. At present, the night time temperature in most parts is likely to remain between 09-14°C and the day time temperature is likely to remain between 24-28°C.
