On November 13, gold became costlier by Rs 2,310 per 10 grams in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Apart from Varanasi, a huge increase in its prices has also been seen in Meerut. At the same time, today the price of silver has increased by Rs 10,000 and is moving towards the seventh heaven.
22 carat gold becomes expensive
The price of 22 carat gold also rose in the bullion market of Varanasi on Thursday. As soon as the market opened, it increased by Rs 2,100 per 10 grams, after which its price became Rs 1,17,300 per 10 grams. Earlier on November 12, its price was Rs 1,15,200 per 10 grams. At the same time, 18 carat gold also did not lag behind. Today it rose by Rs 1,720 in the market and its price reached Rs 96,000 per 10 grams.

There was again a big rise in the price of silver in the bullion market on Thursday. As soon as the market opened, silver increased by Rs 10,000 per kg, after which its price became Rs 1,72,000 per kg. On November 12, its price was Rs 1,62,000 per kg.

Ravi Saraf, General Secretary of Varanasi Bullion Association, said that with the beginning of the wedding season, the prices of silver have started increasing again. Silver has increased by Rs 19,000 per kg in the last three days. It is expected that its prices may touch further heights in the coming days.
