Bihar Jharkhand News Today LIVE: 50-year-old Satish Yadav, who was absconding for 25 years after allegedly murdering his colleague Sajan Singh in North Delhi’s Roop Nagar in 2000, has been arrested by Delhi Police from his native village in Darbhanga district of Bihar. According to the police, on February 6, 2000, Satish, angry at being slapped by Sajan during a fight over food expenses, attacked him with an axe, killing him. Satish, declared a fugitive in October 2000, was living in hiding in Kolkata, Assam and Bihar for the last two and a half decades. After reviewing the unresolved cases, the police team reached Darbhanga and arrested him. During interrogation, Satish has confessed to his crime.

3 died due to drowning in Jharkhand
Here, three people have died due to drowning in reservoirs in Gumla and Garhwa districts of Jharkhand. A 37-year-old woman slipped and drowned in a well while fetching water in Patratoli village of Ghaghra police station area of Gumla district. According to Ghaghra police station in-charge Puneet Minj, the body has been handed over to the family after post-mortem and a case of unnatural death has been registered. At the same time, two separate incidents took place in Garhwa district. In Parshukhad village of Chiniya police station area, a 45-year-old man named Pramod Korwa drowned in the pond, whose body was recovered after 26 hours. In the third incident, 45-year-old Dharmendra Bind drowned after falling into the tank of an under-construction toilet in Jobaria village of Garhwa. In both the cases, the police have handed over the bodies to the relatives after post-mortem.
