According to a report published in the Economics Times, OpenAI has entered into this lease agreement with Corporate Edge, a company that provides premium workspace. OpenAI is the parent company of ChatGPT. OpenAI had announced the opening of its office in India in the month of August this year. Under this, the company has opened its first office in Delhi.
What is the company’s plan?
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman had informed in August that the company is planning to open its office in India. So that AI can be further developed for India. He also talked about developing AI keeping India in mind in this development.
He also said that the company is very excited to invest in India. OpenAI plans to work with the Indian government, businesses and other developers.
Where did OpenAI office open?
OpenAI’s first office in India has opened in World Trade Centre, Naoroji Nagar, Delhi. In which 42,000 square feet of premium office space is available. It has 5 hi-tech meeting rooms, about 500 workstations and other facilities.

Indian market is very important for OpenAI. India is the second largest market after America in terms of number of users. Also, Indian students are at the forefront in the world in using ChatGPT.
