Lucknow News: A woman created a sensation by killing her live-in partner in BBD area of Lucknow. It is alleged that the deceased was casting evil eye on her 18-year-old daughter, due to which the woman got angry and killed him by stabbing him in the neck with a knife. At present, the police have arrested the accused woman and started investigating the case.
Lucknow : A heart-wrenching incident came to light late on Sunday night in Salarganj of Green City in BBD police station area of Lucknow, where 35-year-old Surya Pratap Singh was brutally murdered. Surya Pratap’s blood stained body was found in his own house. Police investigation revealed that Surya Pratap was murdered by attacking his neck with a sharp weapon. In this sensational case, the police has arrested the live-in partner of the deceased, Ratna Devi. Ratna Devi’s age is said to be 45 years.
According to the information received from the police, Ratna Devi was living in a live-in relationship with Surya Pratap for the last 10 years. Ratna’s two daughters aged 18 and 14 also lived in the same house. The reason revealed in the primary investigation of the incident is even more shocking. Sources claim that Surya Pratap had an evil eye on Ratna’s 18-year-old daughter, due to which Ratna was extremely hurt and angry. This dispute took the form of murder. However, the police are still silent on the reasons behind this case. The accused also refused to say anything in front of the camera.
Police recovered the knife
Police allege that Ratna Devi got angry and picked up a knife and stabbed Surya Pratap on his neck. The blow was so deep that Surya Pratap died on the spot. The police have recovered the knife used in the murder from the house. According to police officials, Ratna Devi is being detained and interrogated. It is noteworthy that the deceased Surya Pratap Singh was originally a resident of Deoria district and was working as a sales executive in a company. At present, the police is investigating the matter in depth and the family members have been informed.
The secret will be revealed after post mortem
Lucknow SP said that the police has sent the body for post-mortem, so that the exact reasons can be medically confirmed. Also, a case of murder has been registered against the woman Ratna Devi and her custodial interrogation is going on. Legal action is being taken forward and the police team is thoroughly investigating every aspect of the entire matter.
