Ranchi: The effect of northwest wind is being seen at a rapid pace in Jharkhand. Here now people are hiding in their homes only after 6:00 pm. People taking evening walks are not visible even after searching. Garden, park, everything has been heard. Now only icy winds are blowing here. These winds have worsened the condition of the people. In the first week of December itself, cold had started showing its fierce form in Jharkhand. In such a situation, Ranchi Meteorological Department has issued a warning to the people to remain alert.
Cold wave alert in 11 districts of Jharkhand
Ranchi Meteorological Center has issued a warning regarding cold wave in 11 districts, which include Garhwa, Palamu, Chatra, Latehar and Lohardaga, Gumla, Simdega, Ranchi, Ramgarh, Bokaro and Khunti districts. The minimum temperature in these districts is likely to be 8 to 9 degrees. Till 24 hours ago the minimum temperature here was 5 to 6 degrees. There has been an increase in temperature here, but the shivering winds have increased the cold. People are not going to get any relief from this.

Record breaking cold in Gumla
Gumla district of Jharkhand recorded a minimum temperature of 3.5 degrees for the second consecutive day. The situation here is so cold that people are seen completing their important work in the sunlight. At the same time, minimum temperature has been recorded at 4.4 degrees in Ranchi and 5 degrees in Khunti. Due to dew at night, a good amount of crop is being destroyed in Ranchi Kanke area.
Northwest wind caused havoc in Jharkhand
Meteorologist Abhishek Anand of Ranchi Meteorological Center said that at present the northwest wind has affected the lowest aura of Jharkhand, which is also called troposphere. There is a lot more activity there. Due to which so much shivering and cold is being seen.
Increase in minimum temperature also
An increase of about 2-3 degrees has been seen in the minimum temperature in the last 24 hours. Where in southern districts like Jamshedpur, Seraikela or Godda or Deoghar, the temperature was around 10 degrees. Now it is being seen here around 13 degrees, but despite this, no significant effect is being seen due to the icy wind.
