Easy method of making Tawa Egg Pulao
necessary materials
Basmati boiled rice – 3 cups
Boiled eggs (in slices) – 3
Beaten eggs – 3 (adding some salt)
Oil – 3 tbsp
Butter – 2 tbsp
Cumin – 1 tsp
Onion – 1 cup (chopped)
Capsicum – ⅓ cup
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
Green chilli – 2-3
Turmeric – ½ tsp
Tomato – ½ cup (chopped)
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Chili flakes – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1½ tsp
Pav bhaji masala – 1 tsp
Salt – as per taste
Water – ¼ cup
Green peas – ½ cup
Ketchup – 2 tbsp
Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
Green Coriander – 3 tbsp
Step-by-step recipe
– First of all, heat the pan on gas and add oil or butter in it.
– Now add cumin seeds and as soon as it crackles, add onion and capsicum and fry till it turns golden.
Then add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies and fry lightly, then add turmeric, tomato, red chilli, chilli flakes, coriander powder, pav bhaji masala and salt.
– Add some water and cook the spices until the oil separates.
Then add ketchup, lemon juice and green peas and cook for a few minutes.
– Keep the spices aside, add beaten eggs in the middle and cook until lightly scrambled.
– Now mix the eggs well with the spices.
– Lastly add boiled rice, egg slices and green coriander and toss slowly. Then cover and cook for 2-3 minutes so that the flavors get mixed well. And your tawa egg pulao is ready, serve it with raita.
