Women of Ambikapur’s Sambhav Mahila Manch and Seva Kitty group reached Koodpani village. Here, Mamta Gupta, the head teacher of the middle school, was working for the problems of children and villagers for a long time. Announcement of adoption of village
Sambhav Manch member Vandana Dutta said that this group is active since December 6, 2015 and every year on the occasion of its foundation day, a program of blanket distribution among the needy is organized in some village. In this sequence, he has decided to adopt Koodpani village through Seva Kitty Group. Before this, the group had adopted Ramnagar village and carried out social activities there for many years.
Focus will be on awareness, education and helping the needy
Vandana Dutta said that after adopting the village, her priority will be to get rid of drug addiction, keep teenagers away from bad company, provide information about government schemes and provide benefits to the eligible people. Along with this, if any villager needs help in needs like education, illness or marriage of girls, then the group will provide full help.
