Ghaziabad GDA News: It is the dream of every family to have their own house in Delhi-NCR, but the expensive townships of private builders in Ghaziabad have spoiled the budget of common people. Due to high prices, thousands of families are unable to buy their homes. To solve this problem, Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has taken forward the Harnandipuram township scheme with affordable and modern facilities at a fast pace.
The first phase of this project, which has been in preparation for about eight months, is expected to be launched in the next five months. According to GDA officials, the land purchase process is going on at a fast pace. Till now the deed of 35 hectares of land has been completed and farmers have given consent on 85 hectares of land. The special team of GDA is talking to the farmers every day. So that 125 hectares of land can be taken from the farmers. For this, a proposal has also been sent to deploy additional employees of the Revenue Department.
Topographical survey started
Topographical survey has been started four days ago to prepare the actual outline of the Haranandipuram scheme. After the issue of notice to proceed, this survey will be completed in 30 days. After this, planning of the first phase, determination of sectors and number of development phases will be decided. GDA believes that once the first phase of the scheme is launched, the authority will generate significant revenue, which will be used to improve roads, sewerage, water, parks and other infrastructure facilities.
The most important thing about the scheme is that land is not being acquired. GDA is purchasing land from farmers on the basis of mutual consent and they are being paid up to four times the DM circle rate. Because of this, the villagers are also positive about the scheme and are fully cooperating.
