Michael Dell, who is one of the richest people in the world, has promised to make a grand donation of 6.25 billion dollars i.e. approximately Rs 52,000 crore. This money is being collected under the ‘Invest America’ initiative of the Trump administration, which people are calling ‘Trump Account’ or Trump’s ‘Jan Dhan Account’. Michael Dell has said in the White House that investing in children is the smartest step.
The Dell couple will directly deposit $250, or approximately Rs 21,000, into the personal investment accounts of 2.5 crore American children through this ‘Trump’s Jan Dhan Account’. This money is for those children whose family income is $150,000 i.e. Rs 13 lakh or less.
Who benefits from government money?
It’s not just private donations! The Trump administration has also opened the treasury in this scheme. The US Treasury will deposit $1,000, or approximately Rs 83,000, in the investment accounts of all children born between 2025 and 2028.
This scheme was created this year under President Donald Trump’s ‘One Big Beautiful Bill Act’. Whose goal is to provide middle class children with the resources so that they can fulfill their ‘American Dream’.
