The VC of the university said that we had received a complaint on November 27 about an anonymous letter in which it was mentioned that obscene messages were sent on WhatsApp by the professor. When the inquiry committee investigated the entire matter, the teachers were relieved. Regarding the matter, the VC said that if any complaint comes, we take strict action and if necessary, the matter will also be reported to the police.
VC Dr Rampal Saini said, “For us, students come first. Any complaint of sexual harassment or inappropriate behavior will be immediately acted upon. No such element will be tolerated on the CRSU campus.” He said that a detailed investigation of the matter is going on and the final report will be presented soon.

In the message, the accused professor is asking the student for her number and also says that everyone thinks about you that you are not a virgin. In one message the professor asks, “Can I disturb you if your boyfriend allows it?” However, the student says that she is single. Many similar messages are sent by the professor to the student while chatting on WhatsApp.
A total of more than 50 students made allegations
A total of around 50 girl students have made allegations in this matter and have accused them of using obscene language and caste based abuses. Professors have been accused of commenting on their personal life and dress. On November 28, more than 50 girl students of the English department also met the Vice Chancellor.
