Deoghar: According to the Hindu calendar, the month of Margashirsha is about to end and the tenth month of the year, Paush (Push), is about to begin. With the beginning of this month, Kharmas also starts. Due to which all the auspicious functions like marriage, mundan, sacred thread etc are stopped. However, worship is not prohibited and the worship related to Tulsi has been given special significance in this month. It is believed that by worshiping Tulsi in the month of Pausha, a person gets happiness, prosperity and good health, because in Hindu religion Tulsi is considered sacred and the form of Goddess Lakshmi.

Pramod Shringari, the pilgrimage priest of Baidyanath Jyotirling, told Local 18 that after the end of Margashirsha month, the month of Pausha will begin from December 5 and Tulsi must be worshiped in this month. Due to which happiness and prosperity increases in life. He has given a special solution to get relief from troubles. Sankranti is on 16th December, but a day before that, on the Ekadashi date of Pausha month, the person should write each name of Lord Vishnu Sahasranaam with sandalwood on the Vrinda Tulsi leaf. If a person writes his name on one thousand such leaves in a day and offers them to Lord Vishnu, then all the troubles of life will end and only happiness and prosperity will remain.
Along with this, the Tirthapurohit has advised to offer other things on Tulsi. In the month of Paush, ghee along with water must be offered to Tulsi every day. Also, offer Chunari to Tulsi and light a ghee lamp in the evening. By doing this, Goddess Lakshmi becomes very happy and there is never any financial crisis in the house. Apart from this, donating in the month of Paush is also considered very auspicious, due to which all the planetary defects in a person’s life are eliminated.
