Now there will be relief from jam in Firozabad, road will be widened from Kotla Bamba intersection to Rani Nagar, crores will be spent

Firozabad : After Firozabad became a smart city, the condition of streets and roads is being improved. Widening and repairing of roads is being done in Firozabad City at a cost of crores of rupees. Due to which now people will not have to face any kind of problem in traffic. The work of widening of the road is going on from Kotla Road Bamba intersection to Rani Nagar in Firozabad. Due to which now the city residents will not face any problem. Also, traffic jams and accidents will be controlled here.

Firozabad Municipal Corporation Assistant Engineer Prempal Singh, while talking to Local 18, said that the work of widening of the city’s unpaved roads is being done like the NCAP i.e. National Clean Air Program scheme run by the government. Due to this, the road will be widened on both sides from Kotla Road Bamba intersection to Rani Nagar in Firozabad. In which approximately Rs 1.69 crore will be spent. Interlocking tile footpaths are being built for about 800 meters on both sides of this road. Till now there was a lot of congestion on this road, but now after it is widened, its appearance will change. Its work has started. Its construction work will be finished soon by the corporation.

Accidents will be stopped, there will be no jam for hours

The officer said that there is also a vegetable market on Kotla Road and there is a large number of vehicular traffic on this road. To get rid of this, the face of this road will be changed with a budget of crores of rupees. Many times accidents used to happen when the road was less wide, but now the road will be widened on both sides and footpaths will also be ready. With this, people will no longer have to get stuck in traffic jams for hours and accidents will also reduce.
