Drdo Fighter Aircraft Escape Video: India has taken a big technological leap, giving new strength to the safety of fighter aircraft pilots. DRDO successfully completed the high-speed test of the emergency escape system of the fighter aircraft at a speed of 800 km/h. The test took place at the Rail Track Rocket Sled (RTRS) facility of TBRL Lab in Chandigarh, where a test rig mounted on a rocket-sled is accelerated to high speed in a controlled manner. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that in this trial, three important safety procedures canopy severance, ejection sequencing and aircrew recovery were confirmed. In a real flight crisis, all these processes happen in the correct sequence in a fraction of a second, only then the pilot’s life is saved. In the high-speed run, the DRDO team recorded the performance of every step. This included everything from canopy separation to parachute opening. This success further strengthens India’s indigenous fighter protection system.
