Material
-Wheat flour – 2 cups
-Garlic cloves – 10-12
-Green chilli – 1-2 (finely chopped)
-Green coriander – 1/4 cup (finely chopped)
-Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
-Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
-Salt – as per taste
-Ghee or oil – for frying paratha
The method is as follows
1. First of all, mix finely chopped garlic, green chilli, coriander, red chilli powder, turmeric and salt in the flour.
2. Knead a soft and smooth dough by adding water little by little. Keep in mind that the dough should neither be too hard nor loose.
3. Make small balls from the prepared dough and roll them into round shapes with a rolling pin.
4. Heat the pan and apply some ghee or oil on it and put the paratha. Cook on medium flame until golden and crispy on both sides.
5. Serve hot Garlic Paratha with curd, pickle or any favorite vegetable.
