1. Ghum Railway Station, Darjeeling, West Bengal
This is the highest railway station in India, situated at an altitude of 2,258 meters above sea level. 5. Howrah Junction, Kolkata, West Bengal
Established in 1854, it is the oldest and busiest railway station in India. The European-style architecture and its spectacular location on the banks of the Hooghly River make it a landmark. The view of Howrah Bridge looks very attractive from here.
