Zubeen Garg Death: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said in the Assembly that the death of singer Zubeen Garg is not an accident but clearly murder. Zubin died while swimming in the sea in Singapore on 19 September. The commission investigating this case has extended the deadline for gathering testimonies and evidence to December 12.
Assam On the very first day of the winter session of the Assembly, the issue of singer Zubin Garg’s death became heated. The opposition brought an adjournment motion to discuss this, which was approved by the Speaker. After this, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma gave such a statement, which changed the atmosphere of the entire House.
Chief Minister said- “This is not an accident, it is murder”
During the debate, Chief Minister Sarma said that Zubin Garg’s death was not due to any ordinary accident. He clearly said that this is neither a case of any negligence nor of any criminal conspiracy i.e. a planned incident. According to him this is a “straight murder”. He also shared his entire statement given in the Assembly on social media platform X.
Listening to the absurd statements of the opposition in Assam, it seems that in order to earn their political profits, they are advocating the murderers of Zubin Garg. Their eyes are somewhere else and their targets are somewhere else.#BelovedZubeen pic.twitter.com/eZDpwDY7gR
