This dish is as royal in appearance as it is delicious in taste. Making it at home is also not that difficult. All it takes is the right stuffing, saffron and creamy sauce.
Material
300 grams paneer (sliced into thin sheets)
2 tbsp cashew-raisins
1 tbsp almonds
1 teaspoon cardamom powder
1 teaspoon honey
2 pinches saffron
3 tbsp cream
1 tbsp ghee
half cup milk
salt as per taste
Method of preparation
First prepare the stuffing. For this, prepare a sweet stuffing by mixing cashews, raisins, almonds and a little honey. Add light cardamom powder to it so that it smells royal. Now prepare the paneer sheets. Cut the cheese into long, thin slices. Heat them slightly on low flame so that they do not break while rolling. After this, place the stuffing on each paneer slice and roll it slowly. After making the rolls, roast them in light ghee so that they become slightly golden on the outside. Add milk, cream and ghee in a pan. Add soaked saffron in it and cook on low flame. When the mixture becomes slightly thick, add a pinch of salt. Pour the cooked saffron sauce into a plate and decorate the paneer roll on it. Put some saffron threads on top. Your Shahi Zafrani Paneer Roll is ready.
Why is this dish so special?
