The day will make the exact choice of your morning dress:
fashion magazine Vogue Has published a report based on the study of Professor Adam Galinsky and his colleague Hajo from Chicago Northverston University Kellogg School of Management. It is mentioned in this report that, he asked two groups to wear white coat. First told the group that this is a doctor’s coat. Told the other group that this is a painter’s coat. It was observed that the first group did their work with more precision and made fewer mistakes than their peers, as they subconsciously adopted the distinctive qualities of a doctor. Professor Galinsky called it a systematic effect on the psychological processes of the wearer. Taking this further, the famous psychologist Karen Pine wrote in her book, Mind What You Wear, that women fared worse in a math test when wearing a swimsuit as opposed to a sweater. She noticed in her research that women tend to ignore 90 percent of their wardrobe when under stress. Professor Pine concluded, “This has not only made it clear that we are what we wear, but we become what we wear.” It is clear that the dress you choose to wear in the morning can change your day by setting your meditative time, confidence and powers of abstract thinking for the day.
Color psychology is also special in fashion:When you know that clothes can affect your perception and performance closely, then use it to bring out your favorite feelings and reactions. The ones you like Color psychology suggests that certain colors attract a specific response to the opposite person. Color expert Leatrice Eiseman suggests that particular colors, such as blue, can have a calming effect on the viewer. Blue color is considered a symbol of stability and peace. Look closely, and you will find evidence of color psychology scattered in our everyday lives in innumerable, untold ways. Looking at pandemic in the world, Pantone announced Ultimate Gray and Illuminating Yellow as their colors for the year. This combination of colors shows a ray of hope and future.
Clothing explains a lot:
A well-tailored blazer in a job interview not only informs the interviewer about your dress skills but also communicates. The interviewer adds this to your ability to understand things in depth. The wristwatch can be taken as a sign of punctuality. History is witness that, in matters of style, there is no right or wrong way of doing things, but understanding of the psychology of clothes can make you like you want to make.
