China is still at the forefront, but many countries are now increasing their production of Rare Earth. India is also involved in this race and its reserves are considered quite large.
Russia produces about 2500 metric tons of Rare Earth, and has reserves of about 1.7 million metric tons, which it uses for its technical needs.
India produces about 2900 metric tons of Rare Earth, but it has the world’s largest reserves of about 6.9 million metric tons. This reserve figure can make India a major player in the Rare Earth supply chain in the future.
