Darbhanga: Matar Paneer curry is a dish which is considered very tasty and special for vegetarian people. This dish is not only delicious but also nutritious. If you want to give health and taste to your family by making Matar Paneer vegetable at your home, then make this vegetable in the desi way. People at home will keep licking their fingers after eating this recipe. You will be praised so much that your heart will be happy.

so many things will be needed
Ingredients: One cup of green peas (fresh or dried), one packet of cheese, two large onions finely chopped, two inches of ginger finely chopped, two garlic finely chopped, two green chillies finely chopped, one spoon turmeric powder, one spoon red chilli powder, one spoon Kashmiri chilli powder, one spoon coriander powder, one spoon garam masala powder, one spoon meat masala powder, one spoon paneer masala powder, salt and mustard oil as per taste.

Talking about the method, first of all boil green peas in a cooker or use fresh green peas. Cut the cheese into a good shape. Add mustard oil in a pan and fry the paneer well. Now take out the cheese and keep it aside. Add finely chopped onion in oil and fry it. Use a little salt with the onion so that the onion gets cooked quickly.

This is how it will become special
Prepare paste of ginger, garlic and green chilli. When the onion is fried till 25%, add the spice mixture to it. Fry the spices well. Add green peas and fry well. Add water as required and let it boil. Add fried paneer to it and let it boil again. Once the gravy is done as per your liking, remove it from the gas stove and serve it hot.

Some tips and tricks
You can adopt these tips to make this vegetable even more special. Like adding two tablespoons of homemade cream after the vegetables are cooked or adding cream from outside. This adds richness to the vegetable, although it is on your choice. Along with this, if you grind a little cheese while grinding the masala, the gravy will become very thick. You can also add crumbled paneer. Apart from this, a little curd can also be added while cooking the spices. This brings both sourness and richness.

Apart from this, you can also add Kasuri Methi along with green coriander. You can add ginger by cutting it into juliennes, this makes the vegetable look more tasty. Some people add Kashmiri red chilli seasoning on top after cooking the vegetable to give it a hotel taste. This makes the color very good.
