Muzaffarpur: In Bihar, action against encroachment is being seen like in Uttar Pradesh. Nitish government also seems to be working on the model of CM Yogi. On Friday, encroachment in Muzaffarpur was demolished with bulldozers. This action has given a clear message to the entire state that no concession will be given to those who harass the general public by illegal encroachment, encroachment and spreading road jams.
There was sudden increase in activity from Dharamshala Chowk to Kalyani Square, one of the busiest areas of Muzaffarpur city, on Friday morning. The administration convoy and bulldozer landed on the road. Illegal structures built on roadsides, encroached sheds outside shops, tin shops, counters, display boards, even things placed on footpaths. The yellow claws hurt everyone. At many places people were seen pleading with folded hands, but the administration had already given notice. Therefore, this time there was no scope for relaxation.
Warning was given two days ago
The action was taken under the supervision of Magistrate, Municipal Corporation team and Traffic DSP Mahesh Chaudhary. The Traffic DSP clearly said that the increasing jam and chaos in the city will no longer be tolerated at any cost. He told that shopkeepers were given notice two days in advance and were instructed to remove the encroachment, but most of the people did not take it seriously. As a result, a large-scale bulldozer operation had to be conducted on Friday.
