Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections 2022: This visit of Yogi is considered important in view of the assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh next year.
New Delhi. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is on a tour of the national capital, met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence on Thursday. It is being said that CM Yogi can meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday. This visit of Yogi is considered important in view of the assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh next year. It has been learned that after the meeting of Yogi and Shah, former Union Minister and Apna Dal leader Anupriya Patel has reached Amit Shah’s residence.
A day before Yogi’s visit, former Congress leader Jitin Prasada, who came from Uttar Pradesh, has joined the BJP. After joining the BJP in the presence of Union Minister Piyush Goyal and BJP MP Anil Baluni, Prad had said in the last few years he had realized that if there is any political party in the country in real sense, it is the BJP. Prasad had said that, “The rest of the parties are left as individuals and regions. Today any party and leader is most suitable for the interest of the country and if he stands firmly then it is BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Prasad said that Prime Minister Modi is serving India selflessly and is facing all the challenges with a stoicism.
It is worth noting that preparations for the BJP are intensifying for the assembly elections to be held in the state next year. Last week, BJP’s National General Secretary (Organisation) BL Santosh and the party’s state in-charge Radha Mohan Singh had visited Lucknow and reviewed the party’s preparations for next year’s assembly elections. After the review meeting, Radha Mohan Singh replied Had also met State Governor Anandiben Patel and Assembly Speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit. The agenda of this meeting was being told as a cabinet reshuffle, although Singh dismissed such speculations and termed the meeting as private.
Singh had said that this meeting was also a courtesy as he could not meet the governor after taking charge of the state.
