Yediyurappa tweeted and said, I am proud to be a loyal worker of BJP. It is an honor for me that I have served BJP by following the ideals of the party. I urge everyone to behave according to the ethos of the party and do not indulge in any such demonstration or indiscipline which will bring embarrassment to the party.

Let us tell you that amidst the discussion of change of leadership, the dinner hosted by Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs has been postponed. Yediyurappa was supposed to host a dinner for the MLAs on July 25 to mark the completion of two years of the government. Official sources said without disclosing the reasons for the postponement of the event, the scheduled dinner meeting has been postponed and a new date has not been decided yet. The dinner was to be held at a hotel in the city at around 7 pm on Sunday.

Karnataka government is completing 2 years on 26th July
Yeddyurappa, who is completing his two years in government on July 26, had visited Delhi last week. During this, he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP President JP Nadda. The visit raised questions in some sections whether the party is now working on a plan for a change of leadership. On his return from the national capital, Yediyurappa, however, rubbished these reports and said that the central leadership has asked him to continue in the post.
