Jamshedpur. XLRI – Xavier School of Management, one of the oldest and renowned management institutes in India, has introduced 9 new international specialization tracks in its core PGDM (Business Management) programme. These tracks have been prepared in partnership with four big universities of America and France. With this move, students will now get a PGDM (BM) degree from XLRI along with an MBA/MS degree from a foreign university. That means students will get a special opportunity of “dual degree”.
These youth will get special help
XLRI Director Father S. George SJ said, “The world is changing rapidly and career opportunities have become international. This program will prepare Indian students for the international job market by providing them world-class specialization.” This initiative is especially important for those youth who want to make a career in healthcare, sports management, business analytics, international business and new growing industries.

Martin J. Whitman School of Management – Syracuse University (USA)

IAE Paris – Sorbonne Business School (France)

All these specializations will prepare students for those industries whose demand is going to be high in the coming time.
In this dual degree model, students will be given more than 400 hours of domain-specific content. Students enrolling in the STEM-designated track in America will get the benefit of OPT (work permit) for 3 years, which will enable them to work in America. Whereas in the French track, students will get 12 months renewable work/residence permit.
The biggest thing – due to scholarships from partner universities, students will be able to complete these degrees at low cost. Apart from this, career fair, interaction and placement opportunities will also be available in both the institutes.
How will the program be structured?
• Second year: initial modules at XLRI, then specialization at a foreign university from the fall semester
This gives students experience of both the Indian business environment and international business models.
admission process
Admission to this course will be through XAT 2026, just like PGDM (BM) of XLRI. The candidate will have to select his/her preferred international track while filling the form. The minimum qualification has been fixed as 4 years full-time degree after 10+2.
This program is a great opportunity for those students who want to pursue an international career while studying in India. This step of XLRI takes Indian management education to a new global level.
