Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 12.5 update for Redmi K40 smartphone. According to the changelog, in this update, the company is offering features like faster system performance, haptic feedback, stereo system sounds, privacy protection and floating windows with a new user interface. Not only this, new tools are also being offered in this update like Xiaomi Cloud, Multiple SIM Card Management and Doodling and Sketching.
The new update has version number V126.96.36.199.RKHCNXM and size 3.8 GB. The company has only released this update in China. It is currently being rolled out in the stable beta phase. In the coming days, this update can also be rolled out for global users.
Redmi K40 features and specifications
The phone has a 6.67 inch Full HD + Super AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. This display with a punch-hole design comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10 + support. In this phone with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage, the company is offering Snapdragon 870 chipset as a processor.
