Siraj’s current form Kamal-Harbhajan Singh
Harbhajan believes that a player’s current form should always be looked at and accordingly Siraj, whose five-wicket haul in Brisbane was instrumental in India’s series win. The off-spinner said, ‘You should look at the current form. Siraj’s form, pace and confidence make him a better option for the final match. Looking at the form of the last six months, he looks like a bowler who is hungry for opportunities. Ishant has had to deal with a few injuries in the recent past, but he has been brilliant for Indian cricket, no doubt about it. ‘Harbhajan told why Siraj would be dangerous
Harbhajan Singh said that Mohammad Siraj will prove to be very fatal if there is grass on the pitch. He said, ‘If you leave some grass on the pitch, then Siraj will be dangerous at his speed. Trust me, it will not be easy for the New Zealand batsmen to play him as he moves the ball ‘off the pitch’ with his speed. He can bowl in difficult angles for the batsmen. ‘
Shubman Gill has to do well: Harbhajan
Regarding Gill, Harbhajan said that he is confident that the talented Punjab batsman must have worked on his shortcomings and expressed hope that he will do well in the next three months in England. “A score of 375-400 runs in the first innings will be good for the Indian fast bowling attack. But for this, Gill will also have to bat well.
