Udaipur: The demand for hot and spicy food automatically increases during the winter season. In such a situation, chicken tikka becomes the first choice of people. Often people go to restaurants to taste it, but going out again and again to eat is not only expensive but they also do not get the same taste every time. The good thing is that now you can easily make restaurant-like chicken tikka at home, that too without any special equipment.
To make chicken tikka at home, first take 250 grams of boneless chicken. Wash and clean the chicken thoroughly and cut it into medium-sized pieces, so that it can cook quickly and evenly. After this, prepare to marinate the chicken. Put chicken in a bowl and add salt as per taste, red chilli powder, a little turmeric, coriander powder, one spoon chicken masala and one spoon lemon juice. Now add one spoon of thick curd to it, which will make the chicken soft and juicy.
Mix all the spices well with the chicken so that the spices apply evenly on each piece. After this add finely chopped green coriander and mix well again. Now cover this marinated chicken and keep it for about one to one and a half hours. During this time, the spices will penetrate well inside the chicken, due to which the taste will become even better.

After one to one and a half hours, add one spoon oil to the chicken and keep it aside again for 10 minutes. Now place a non-stick pan on the gas and heat it on medium flame. Add two tablespoons of oil and two tablespoons of butter in the pan. Using butter enhances the flavor of chicken tikka even more.
When the butter melts, spread the marinated chicken pieces one by one on the pan. Keep in mind that the flame should remain medium. Let the chicken cook for about 15 to 20 minutes and keep turning it occasionally. When the color of the chicken turns golden brown and it is completely cooked, turn off the gas.
Your restaurant style chicken tikka is ready. Serve it with onion rings, green chutney and mayonnaise. Both family and guests will definitely like this chicken tikka on a cool evening or winter night.
