Chandauli News: Wholeheartedly appreciated the efforts being made by the Uttar Pradesh government to provide better health facilities to the common people. In fact, a patient suddenly suffered a severe cardiac attack, after which a free life-saving injection worth Rs 60 thousand was provided.
Chandauli: Raj Kumar Sharma, son of late Kishori Lal Sharma, resident of Gopalpur in the district, suddenly suffered a severe cardiac attack and was immediately brought by his family members to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital in Ramnagar, where seeing the serious condition, the team of doctors immediately administered a life-saving injection worth about Rs 60 thousand, provided free of cost under the STEMI project, due to which the patient’s life could be saved.
In fact, the family members heaved a sigh of relief after the treatment and wholeheartedly appreciated the efforts being made by the Uttar Pradesh government to provide better health facilities to the common people. According to the hospital administration, the first injection under this project was given on April 26, 2024 and till now 11 patients have been treated successfully.
Increasing trust in government hospitals
The Uttar Pradesh government is continuously working towards improving health services. Due to the rejuvenation program of government hospitals, new machines, deployment of expert doctors and availability of state-of-the-art treatment, patients are now giving more preference to government hospitals than private hospitals.
It is possible to provide treatment during the golden hour
Chief Medical Superintendent of Ramnagar Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, Dr. G.C. Dwivedi told Local 18 that through the Steamy project, it is possible to provide treatment to heart attack patients during the ‘golden hour’. This injection helps in opening the clogged artery of the heart immediately, due to which the chances of survival of the patient increases manifold. This injection is available completely free of cost in the hospital and our aim is to provide this facility to as many patients as possible on time.
