We are talking about Jiyut Brahma Baba, whose place is not only a major center of faith for the local people, but the Railway Department has also recognized his miracles. According to the stories, the pride of the British was also shattered by the grace of this Baba.

According to Dattatreya Tiwari, a local elder and an expert in the history of Jiyut Brahma Baba, during the construction of the railway line during the British era, a pond was falling in the way. Whenever workers tried to fill the pond with soil and fill it, the soil mysteriously returned back into the pond. Several attempts were made, but every time the result was the same. Then the villagers said that this place belongs to Jiyut Brahma Baba and no work can be done here without his wish.

Railway department built the temple

It is said that the railway officials, considering it a miracle, organized a grand puja of Baba. After this the construction work of the railway line could be completed. Apart from this, after the construction of the line, the Railway Department also built a temple next to Baba’s place and since then every year special puja and kirtan is performed by the railway personnel. He was a resident of this village, who, under certain circumstances, sacrificed his life and became a Brahmin.

If we talk about the villagers, Krishnakant Pandey said that every train passing in front of the temple automatically slows down. No matter how fast the speed of the train is, the speed immediately decreases as it approaches Baba’s place. Villagers claim that if the train does not slow down, some untoward incident will definitely happen.

There has been an accident with a goods train.

Referring to an incident, villager Sunil Chaturvedi said that years ago the loco pilot did not reduce the speed, due to which a goods train met with an accident. The soil beneath the railway line sank and despite filling it several times, a pothole was formed again. When the puja was performed again, the track became stable and the work was completed easily.

According to people, the wishes of every devotee who bows his head in the court of Jiyut Brahma Baba are fulfilled. Whose wish is fulfilled, he gets a grand puja performed in Baba’s court. Even today, people come here from far and wide with their faith and the Railway Department also moves forward accepting the blessings of Baba.
